Luis Cid Muñoz, conocido mundialmente como DJ BYTE, es el primer y único latinoamericano en ganar el campeonato mundial Red Bull 3Style (Tokio 2015). Con dos podios mundiales consecutivos (Campeón 2015, Subcampeón 2013) y una final mundial en Vancouver 2011, ha construido un legado único en la historia del DJing competitivo.
Con más de 25 años de carrera profesional, ha llevado su música a más de 60 países en América, Europa y Asia. Su estilo combina tornamesismo de alto nivel —scratch, beat juggling— con una curaduría musical que fusiona hip-hop, electrónica, ritmos latinos y clásicos globales. Con más de 150 shows al año en formatos que van desde festivales masivos y clubes nocturnos hasta eventos corporativos y fiestas privadas, BYTE no se adapta al evento — eleva el evento. Su lectura de pista y experiencia garantizan que la fiesta suceda, sin importar el formato ni la audiencia.
Representado en Europa por la agencia suiza STRAIX y en Asia por la agencia japonesa Diamond Edge, Byte suma 6 giras mundiales con Red Bull y 2 giras anuales por Europa.
